On June 26, 2023, Anne L. Clark testified before the New York City Council’s Committee on Civil and Human Rights in support of Intro 864, a bill that would ban employers from requiring employees and job applicants to agree to a shortened statute of limitations for civil rights claims under the New York City Human Rights Law.  Councilmember Lincoln Restler introduced the bill at the urging of Ms. Clark.  She also provided information at the hearing in support of other bills under consideration that would strengthen the rights of workers.
